Income Generation
Offering income-generating opportunities to disadvantaged groups through structured community programmes and pass-on projects.
Western Hope for Future Initiative Ltd inspires humanity to realise their capacity and do productive work — offering income opportunities, agricultural skills, and community empowerment across Isingiro District and beyond.
Western Hope for Future Initiative Ltd is a company limited by guarantee, established in 2021. It grew from a Paravet Association supported by Veterinarians Without Borders from Canada, which trained community members in basic animal husbandry management.
Starting with 18 community groups, the organisation aims to eradicate poverty through goat and pig pass-on projects and revolving credit funds. Groups meet monthly to collect contributions, repay loans, and lend to members for household development.
Our main offices are located at Kaberebere II Cell, Southward, Kaberebere Town Council, Isingiro District, Uganda.

Offering income-generating opportunities to disadvantaged groups through structured community programmes and pass-on projects.
Equipping citizens in impoverished areas of Uganda with revolving credit funds, savings groups, and financial literacy.
Boosting agricultural skills and animal husbandry knowledge through training, pass-on goat/pig projects, and veterinary support.
Raising awareness on gender-based inequality, poverty eradication, and human rights through sensitisation campaigns.
Carrying out awareness campaigns on infectious and other diseases to promote community health and wellbeing.
Carrying out any other business incidental to our objectives to build resilient, self-sustaining communities across Uganda.
From humble beginnings as a Paravet Association to a fully registered company limited by guarantee — these are the milestones that define our growth.
Paravets as the umbrella organisation have maintained regular meetings to manage the 18 community groups and their activities within their communities.
Western Hope members have maintained consistent mid-year meetings where the credit fund is evaluated and returned to community groups for further household use and development.
Dr. Claire Card from Veterinarians Without Borders (Canada) supported the organisation with the credit fund initiative that has united groups under a shared goal of poverty eradication and community upliftment.
